Bid on item, person who made bid would like to make an offer

Hi,

I have a bid on an item and the bidder has since made me an offer but, as the item is auction only, I don’t think there is a way to amend the auction to add a BIN or add a best offer. If I cancel the auction and relist will I get a black mark as I already have a bid?

I’m sure there must be a way round it but I can’t work out how....

You can end the listing - and  when you do this you are given the option to cancel the bids on it or sell to the highest bidder -  so you choose " sell to the highest bidder " and then send the buyer an invoice with an added charge that brings the total they pay up to the price you agreed for the item.
