I listed an item a few days ago ( still got about 3 days to run) and immediately got loads of people wanting me to end the listing and offering to pay me immediately various amounts. I thanked them and said I would just run the auction as I am currently benefiting from the £1 final value fee offer from EBay on the listing.
One of the people who was “ in a hurry and needed the item quickly” has now bid on the item and bid more than he said he was prepared to. I am worried he is only doing this to upset my sale as I did not accept his offer. Another person has also bid and is currently the highest bidder. The bid is a good one which I am very happy to accept now.
what happens if I end the listing and realist it with buy it now for the person who is currently the highest bidder on my auction listing?I am happy to pay the fees on the final value of the person’s bid on the auction I would like to end but do not want to have to pay twice if I relist as a buy it now. Alternatively can I remove the bids from the person I am concerned about and if so does that then affect the bids the other person has made....all very complicated! I have just heard horror stories of people bidding up things to wreck sales. The item really is not worth much more than the current bid in it.
.
Choose end from the options to the right of the item in your my ebay one of the options that should show is sell to highest bidder.
