Possible dishonest buyer

I've just had notification that a buyer hasn't received an item. I'm not suggesting that it's definitely a false claim but (a) my experience of Royal Mail is that they are very good and (b) this buyer has quite a record of leaving negative feedback.

I would like to notify eBay so that they can keep an eye on him but it appears that I can only do this by saying that it is a tracked item with a tracking number which it isn't as it was sent as a large letter by second class.

I don't like to think ill of anyone so shall I just block him and refund him and move on?

Things do get lost in the post!

Some buyers only seem capable of Negative Feedback and don't bother about the good transactions.

You have no choice, if they have opened a Not Received case then ou refund through the case and get a refund of the selling fee. Do not refund any other way, if buyer has not opened a case, then you don't refund as ou do not get the selling fee refunded.

If te buyer has not opened a case then it is possible that they have opened too many and already come to the attention of ebay, but NO CASE, NO REFUND.

All troublesome buyers or any that cause concern should be added to your blocked bidders list, better safe than sorry.
