You refer to Product, what is it? Is it new? Ebay catalogue is only really suitable for Brand new Items and in that Case you would need to register as a Business Seller.
You don't say what the product is it might be something you would not be authorised to sell.
I would have thought that once you have entered it in your listing.it should show in a preview.
I have never used the ebay catalogue so no experience of it, but once you have the item is there something you have to click to confirm hat it is correct.
If item is not Brand New it would be wiser to use your own Picture, to save later problems as buyers expect to get an item in thesame condition as shown in the picture.
