If vat reg, is there anything to gain to vat offset on postage charged.

Is it worth offsetting postage against my vat bill. My accountant and Royal Mail say I do not necessarily need to use postage vat chargeable. I am vat reg.

I just not sure if best to continue as  the vat Royal Mail account or to post via the non vat bpl Royal Mail business account.

my accountant says it's my choice. I just want the best choice. any ideals...advice thank you for reading
