I've noticed an ebay 'code' in buyers addresses - can anyone tell me what it's for please?

Can anyone tell me why there's an ebay 'code' in buyers' addresses now - what's it for?

It says "The unique eBay code will not be printed as part of the address on the postage label."

Not sure if that's true but if you write/print your own labels you can leave it out.

You need to read Ebay Announcements, but personally I ignore this part of the address, I don't see any reason for the fact that you buy things from ebay should be shown on the address.
