I raised a dispute with a non paying buyer 4 days ago. how long before I can re-list item?

I raised a disput via resolution centre with non paying buyer 4 days ago. Still showing awaiting buyer's response. How long must I wait?

4x 24 hours to the second from when you opened the case you will get the option to close it and get your final value fee refunded, you will then be able to relist

Ebay works on 24-hour days. So the buyer has 4 x 24 hours in which to pay, timed from the second you opened the case.

Don't forget to add the non-payer's Ebay ID to your Blocked Bidders List before you relist if you haven't already done so. And while you're there, tighten up your Buyer Requirements to lower the risk of getting non-payers and other rogue buyers in the first place (Account...Site Preferences...Buyer Requirements). Pay particular attention to the one which blocks those with 2+ Unpaid Item strikes in 12 months.

Thanks. It worked. Pity eBay didn’t give me the option to highlight the 8/10 other nonpayments disclosed in (unavoidable) positive feedbacks this person has recently clocked up at the same time.

If those other sellers had opened Unpaid Item Disputes against this buyer instead of leaving negative comments on a positive feedback, which is a serious violation of eBay's terms and conditions regarding selling on the site, then so long as you'd already had your Selling Preferences set up to block buyers with two or more Unpaid Item Strikes on his/her account during the past twelve months then this buyer would not have been able to purchase the item in the first place.

Understood. But it seems eBay put all the onus on us to avoid these problems and are perfectly comfortable ignoring these unfit members. It’s inconceivable that my buyer could clock up so many non payment feedbacks and I am the only one to report her non payment of my item without any of her other victims doing the same. But as of now she is still left to continue with her mischief. However, thanks for your advice.
