I have just sold a piece of jewellery to someone who has three negative feedback.

As I haven't sold an expensive item by distance selling before, I am worried that this buyer, who may be Ok, but has three negative feedback. What if he says he hasn't received it it or package was empty????

What should I do? I'll be grateful for any advise. Thank you.

I would opt out of Global Shipping for future Sales. If the Buyer Claims "Item Not As Described" you would have to Pay the Return Shipping plus any Import and Customs Charges to get your Item back and fully Refund your Buyer.

You are also using inadequate Shipping. Anything valued over £50.00 needs to be sent by Royal Mail Special delivery to be fully covered for any loss or damage in Transit. RM won't compensate for any Gold Items unless they are sent by Special Delivery.

If you Cancel your Current Sale without a Buyer's Request EBay will charge you the Final Value Fees. You would also receive a Damaging Defect on your Account.
