which I don't understand.
First it stated "We had to remove your listing because it didn't follow our Item location misrepresentation".
Then it stated "We noticed a mismatch between the item location you used in your listing & the tracking details assosiated with sending this item. When buyers purchase items the expect it to be sent from the location stated in your listing. If the information isn't accurate it can lead to confusion over delivery times & postage costs, as well as questions about where the item was manufactured".
The item was a Vintage Glass Dolphin & Whale which was listed as 'used' even though it had been in my china cabinet for over 50 years and was like new with no marks on it whatsover. The listing had no history about the item as I bought it in the 1960's.
I live in Derby in the East Midlands which was the item location in my listing, and any items I sell are posted at my local Post Office, so I can't understand whats happened. The listing has disappeared completely off my sold page so I cant even try to check out what could have happened.
Then I noticed I had been left a Neutral which said there was a scratch down one side, which has resulted in a 3 day restriction on my account.
Could anyone shed any light please on what may have gone wrong, as I pride myself on being a good ebayer as my feedback shows. Even though I know there was nothing wrong with the item I would have happily given my buyer a refund, but I am upset about what's happened as I am an honest person. Thank you.
Hi
Your restriction is probably because of the "location misrepresentation" rather than the neutral you received.
I am not sure if you will be able to contact them tonight but scroll down to the bottom of this like to try and get live chat/a call back for an explanation. You may have to try tomorrow.
Unfortunately i have no explanation why Ebay may have taken the course of action they have 😞
