I have had an email saying that ebay is taking over all monies and not using paypal, true or false

I have had an email from ? ebay stating that they will be dealing with all my payments and no dealing with paypal, is this true or false. I am a suspicious person and they are asking for my account details which I will not be giving until I have confirmation of a positive answer.

it's true, but make sure the message is actually from ebay by checking in your ebay messages folder,

there will be a lot of scammersw cashing in on this ebay change
