I accepted a refund request in error .. the buyer is now going to resell item. How do I stop process

My buyer requested a refund as item did not fit. Stupidly I pressed wrong button and accepted it but buyer has now changed their mind and wants to resell item . How do I cancel refund

As you only refund on return of item, you are OK.

Ask buyer to close case.

Beware RETURNS. It looks like the buyer is returning the item but they can keep it whether you refund or not.

You haven't refunded - you've simply accepted the return request. You refund only once the item has been returned and is back in your possession.

Sellers can't close return requests or cases, for obvious reasons. Only the buyer can do that. But if they don't, it will auto-close in your favour after 30 days.
