I NEED THE HOME EMAIL ADDRESS IN ORDER TO SHIP AND FILL IN THE CUSTOM FORMS. NOW EBAY NO LONGER GIVE

I NEED TO POST A LARGE ITEM TO AMERICA. BUT EBAY NO LONGER GIVE OUT THE HOME EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE PERSON WHO BOUGHT THE ITEM. HOW CAN I FILL IN THE CUSTOM FORMS WITHOUT?

Carriers do not need a buyer's email address. All they need is their physical address. Just leave the box blank, or add a string of zeros, or add your own email address.

 

You cannot include a buyer's email address without their permission in any case, as it would beach strict data protection laws.

You use the proxy email address ebay supply in the buyers details, it goes to an ebay server and will send any messages to the buyer.

I am sure it is not essential, not everyone has an email address, or buys through ebay, but have you looked at the Paypal Payment. I have noticed that payments from overseas STILL have an email address shown.

 

If not why not ask the buyer, after all you have sold to them and what information they pass on is up to them.
