Nothing has ever been done about this outrageous theft...postage is postage, there should NOT be a FEE on it! 10% !!
I presume no-one has had the time or the money to take action on this situation?
And...thanks ebay...for nothing...it has now been a whole MONTH since a Fee Promotion!
Wow...you are a condescending bunch! Shan't be using this so-called 'Community' (lololol) forum again, waste of space.
Fee on postage has been here for about 7 years.
Many threatened to challenge it law, but it's still being charged.
"Nothing has ever been done about this outrageous theft."
Except to talk it to death for over 7 years.
Legal? People should read T&C.
ebay decided to increase their fees by charging 10% of everything the seller receives, be it item price or P&P
this was talked to death when it was first introduced, people screaming that it was illegal and they were going to get legal advice etc etc.
smart sellers just increase their P&P or the start price, or a combination of the 2,
and some incorporate all of the costs P&P and the fees, into the item price and offer free P&P

Why would they...? Every single platform I sell on charges a selling fee based on the full amount the buyer pays, and it's perfectly legal.
You don't have to pay it, though. Just increase your item or postage prices to cover it, like all sensible sellers have been doing for the last 7 plus years. Or you could list your items for personal collection only.
In case you haven't noticed, when you take your legal action, which will cost you a fortune and get you nowhere, Paypal always have charged on the full amount, so you can try them as well.
As far as Fee Promotions are concerned perhaps ebay have noticed the number of NEW items that you have been listing, which is more appropriate to a BUSINESS seller, who is not entitled to these offers.
