Hi Can anyone advise what to do as I accdentally refused an offer by pressing wrong button in a rush

Hi I would like to contact a buyer as I accidentally refused a genuine offer and didn't even leave a message. Was in rush at wrk and pressed wrong button. Even if just to apologise as I feel dreadful. Have clicked on name but nothing. Is this something you can do when offer completed. Do I just leave it and let buyer think I don't care? Hope someone can advise thankyou,  Jayne

if you have the username of the person that sent you an offer you can attempt to find their profile by adding their username to the end of this URL, and then send them a message (and they might be able to send you a second offer, as buyers can send up to 3 offers)

In addition to the advice that has already been given, there is another method that you may be able to use in order to contact the buyer about the matter.

In the event that the buyer in question has contacted you via eBay Messages at some point then go to your My eBay and click on the Messages tab.  Open the e-mail that the buyer sent you, then click on Send An Offer at the bottom of the e-mail so as to send an offer directly to the buyer.  Enter the quantity, price and a message to the buyer and then click on Submit.  The buyer should then receive the offer and if he/she is still interested in the item and it doesn't end up being purchased by another buyer in the meantime then you may well end up with the buyer you erroneously turned down deciding to take advantage of the offer in order to purchase the item.
