I'd like to add several delivery options. eBay lets you do that, but - you have to choose from *their* choices.
The only signed for services you can choose go with eBay's new preference for Packlink.
I'm listing something to be sent as a small parcel, with free delivery by Royal MailSigned For® 2nd Class.
I'd like to add these as options:
Royal Mail Tracked 24 withSignature
Royal MailSigned For® 1st Class
Express Delivery (Other 24 Hour Courier)
The only signed for options the form for small parcles lets me add are by Packlink. It seems eBay is forcing you to take its preference, closing down your choice options.
Does anyone know how to add these as options?
(Did I say how I hate and resent the dumbed down seller form?)
Thanks. I'd apreciate any help.
Are you using the advanced listing form? That generally gives you more options.
i always find these postage choices a waste of time, because 99% of the time, buyers will always choose the cheapest option. i can`t remember a single instance where i`ve bought something and paid extra for a `slightly` faster service. O.k, there`s an argument if someone needs it fast, that`s different, but it`s fine paying extra for 24hr delivery or 1st class recorded, but if the seller takes 4 days to post it, plus the current delays anyway, it just seems pointless to me.
just as a side note, something that annoys me about these choices with alot of sellers, is that they`ll sell something for say, a tenner, with free 2nd class delivery, but if you want first class, you can choose the option at an extra price of £3-4. Now it`s clear, that if 2nd class is free, it`s included in the price and accounted for, so why is opting into 1st class and extra £3, when the difference between the two is barely a pound!
