Ebay ruling i n favour of a buyer wuthout a resolution claim case being made

I sold a Coat (via Ebays Global Shipping Porgram) to the US. The buyer conatcted me on Tuesday this week to inform me that he'd still not receievd the item.

Next communication i receive is that Ebay have refunded him in full without even a Resolution Case being started.

I've provided proof of postage,so if the itme hasn't arrived then surely Ebay should seek the compensation for the Buyer from there Global Shipping partners, as i fulfilled mny oblifgations by providing proof of postage!?

This is getting ridiculous!

Also, last week i had a similar issue arise where the Buyer made a false claim that my item was not genuine (when it had the retailers price tags on it!).

Ebay then agreed with the Buyer anddedcuted £7.89 return postage befeor informing me that they'd ruled in the Buyers favour!!

How is this a legal process! Then when the item has been returned all the Tags/Price tags were missing so now not only have i lost out on the sale/and been shafted on return postage, I now cant seel, the item as brand new with tags.

When i've tried to raise a compliant with Ebay i get no response! yuet they repsond to Buyers immediately!

the normal advice regarding Global is -

You need to be extremely careful how you handle this as you could be seriously out of pocket if you try to handle this yourself.

Your buyer needs to open a case for not received and you respond with the tracking number proving delivery to the UK Global shipping hub.

You cite that according to Global T&C you, the seller, are not responsible for any loss or damage in transit once it has arrived at the Global hub.

Seems impossible for a refund being forced by eBay without a case, so contact them -
