are there problems with shipping from the UK eBay Global shipping company to Russia?
Dose the customer get the items ok?
Personally I would not send to Russia, I have done in the past but not now. A poor postage service and parcels often detained for days or even weeks for customs checks. Ebay allowed a case for non delivery to be opened aginst me well after the deadline and I was charged by Ebay.com in dollars.
If it was problem free, why would it not come under GSP?
No, Russia is excluded. But you can ship there direct. Your buyer will thank you for it, as it will work out cheaper than the Global Shipping Programme, even with any import taxes he may have to pay when the goods arrive in his country.
But do remind your buyer that, due to massive Covid-related delays, it could take months before he receives the item. For this reason, Russia, amongst most other countries, is on Royal Mail's 'suspension' list. They're now accepting post for Russia again, but warn that it is moving very slowly. I would not advise anyone to ship internationally at this time, because we're basically stuffed if a buyer opens an Item Not Received case. The numbers of buyers who've already been fully refunded but will eventually receive their (free) item, must be huge. I'm a business seller on another account, and stopped shipping internationally back in March.
No, it's excluded but I've not had problems sending direct.
