Managed Payments is replacing PayPal, for all sellers. In other words, PayPal will no longer be an option for receiving payments, for anyone. Once you're switched to Managed Payments, all your buyers' payments, regardless of how they're made (by PayPal, card, Googlepay or whatever), will go to Ebay.  Ebay will then deposit them in your Ebay account. From there, they will be transferred to your linked bank account, minus Ebay's selling fees.

You can, and should, read up on Managed Payments for yourself.  Full information is in the Seller Centre, and in the Help pages with their integral search.

Paypal will still be a Payment Option, but it will go to Ebay Managed Payments which I think is run by Ayden, and from them to your Bank account. Fees that previously were charged by Paypal will still be deducted, and although I have not been able to see the charges I believe they are similar to Paypal's old fees.

As usual a rather inefficient method of payment and a real shame that although they use the name Ebay Managed Payments, it does not mean that Ebay becomes regulated.

With managed payment as a buyer the only difference you will see is the addition of other payment methods but PayPal will still be one of the options.

Hi . I do believe from what I have heard that every one will be on managed payments as they are rolling this out at the moment .
