A buyer contacted me before bidding to ask if I would post to France which I agreed to. When I went to send the Invoice it was a UK address. It seems that at the moment she is stuck at her holiday home in France due to the virus. I told her that I would only post to her Paypal address. She has confirmed that she has changed her Paypal address to her French one but the Invoice still shows the UK address. How can I verify she has changed the address and see it?
Sellers get very little protection, theone most important thing is that Proof of Delivery to the address supplied by Paypal will protect against Not Received Claims.
Buyer saw the address on paypal when paying, which in any case would be for UK POSTAGE. She should have contacted you first asking for invoice with postage to France and CHANGED her address on Paypal before Paying.
Now if you want any protection at all you can only cancel and relist. This will prove to be an expensive exercise. Depending on the value of the item you might consider taking a chance but she will still need to pay additional postage.
