Can i relist an item before a seller confirms cancelation or do they hold me to ransom for 10 days?
If the buyer has already told you that he's changed his mind then you can cancel the transaction yourself, citing "The buyer and I have agreed to cancel this transaction" as the reason why. As soon as you have done that you are free to relist the item for sale again.
If this is about the Renault that you've recently advertised for sale then should you decide to relist the car again list it using the Classified format, so long as the asking price that you want for the car is equal to, or less than, the maximum amount that you are allowed to make from eBay sales per calendar month. That way you can advertise the vehicle for sale for the price that you want for it and once somebody has paid you in cash for the vehicle you then remove the advert from the site. In the meantime if anybody comes to look at the car but changes their mind and decides not to buy it you can just keep the listing live until another potential buyer has decided to purchase the car and has paid you for it in full and the car is no longer available for sale, or alternatively you can just pull the listing at any time should you change your mind and decide not to continue to offer the car for sale.
No, you can't relist before a cancellation is complete. You otherwise risk having two buyers for the same item, and all the problems that will obviously cause.
Not sure where the 10 days has come from...? Cancellations are usually very quick. Can you explain?
