Buyer says ebay won't let her request a refund, which I agree to , wants my address to return

Buyer wishes to return a postcard bought on July 25th, I have agreed to this in a message. I told her to request a refund through ebay, explained how to do this. Message from her today saying no help from ebay, wants my address. I would prefer to go through proper channels. There's not a lot of money involved but why should I forgo a refund of my expenses. She had left positive feedback with negative comment, then asked for my address on positive feedback for another item bought. I want to be fair and have fully explained things to her. Help !

It is all so simple if she can't find out how to start a return, that is her problem. Did you tell her to look in More Actions > Return an item or Resolution Centre at foot of page?

You have done all you can, I hope you have placed her on your Blocked Bidder List, you don't need this sort of buyer.

Tell her that unless she returns through an ebay case, you cannot refund. She is very close to being out of time.

sorry, i`ve got to ask 🙂

What possible issue can there be with a postcard that has taken her nearly a month to deal with?

is she claiming it`s damaged or just a change of mind, what`s her reason?

if i`m correct, as a private seller your not obliged to accept a `change of mind` return, especially covering return postage, she should pay that.

I`m assuming we are either talking about £3.90 or £3.40 here, so if she does decide to open a return on time, i`d consider just refunding, because a return label is £3.10, which i think may have gone up now, but either way, more expensive than just refunding.

tell your buyer to open an eBay case and you can refund through it.
