This is weird - a member I've been dealing with has 100% positive feedback but numerous feedback comments are not even close to positive.
What's going on here?
For some time now, sellers have not been able to leave negatives for buyers. But if they leave positives they can attach a comment. I guess this is the only way disgruntled sellers get to have their say. I believe the member could easily get those comments removed as, strictly speaking, what the sellers are doing is an abuse of the feedback system.
what's going on?
well, all those sellers who have left negative comments on positive feedback have broken the rules and increased the non payers positive feedback
the option for sellers to leave negative feedback was removed over 12 years ago!!
ebay removed the option for sellers and introduced non payment strikes instead,
these work really well if sellers do it properly,
when you have a non payer you need to complete a non payment case to get your final value fees refunded and give them a non payment strike
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html
then add the non payers ID to your blocked list
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
then set you bidder requirements to block bidders with two or more non payment strikes in the last 12 months
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
adding to what's already been said -
eBay stopped sellers leaving buyers bad feedback because they abused it too much and still do.
some members make up their own rules to take the place of very good rules already in place.
All members should at least read up on the various rules and in fact your post is violating board / eBay policy.
This is unfortunately ebay since they took away a sellers right to leave neg. feedback let the whole community know who it is through this forum and we can all add them to our blocked bidder list and get rid of them that way !
