Buyer-cancelled-sale still showing up in my unpaid items

I previously posted four days ago (but now cannot find the post even though I subscribed to it) that a buyer had asked me to cancel a sale ('problems with bank'), and as it was more than an hour after purchase (which occurred during the night) I had to go through the cancellation process myself, to the end where eBay relists the item for you (at which point I lost all my watchers and still have lost 90% of the watchers).  I then received an email from eBay confirming the cancellation, and saying I didn't have to do anything more.

Five days later, the item is still showing as SOLD but unpaid in my Sold section, and with listing and final value fees applied for my next bill.  The item also still shows in my SOLD list, with the option to relist it - even though it was automatically relisted by eBay.  I thought perhaps the cancellation hadn't gone through, so tried to cancel again, to be informed that the item has already been cancelled.  How do I sort this out and prevent being billed by eBay for insertion and final value fees for the cancelled sale. Does anyone have any advice?  Many thanks.

P.S. where has eBay customer service gone?  Is there nobody there at all to deal with issues like this?

Ebay charge the final selling fee to your ebay account as soon as the listing ends with a winning buyer not when the buyer pays. When you cancel the sale or open/close an unpaid item case a refund of the final selling fee is credited to your ebay account.

Have you checked your account?  There will be a debit amount and a credit amount.

It was technically a sale so will stay in the Sold section, just delete it.
