Why does the displayed 'Amount' of my sales fluctuate from day to day when I've had no more sales?
Recently I sold a couple of items for £3 each, and that is all that is displayed on my Selling page.
However, one day I noticed it showed £5.99 as the amount and the next it was £6.01
Every time I log on I look and it often changes. Now it is at £6.08
This may be a very simple explanation but I fail to see how one transaction that has been and gone is now valued by eBay at 8p more than when it was carried out. Is it some method they use for increasing overall commission?
An explanation from someone who understands this would be gratefully received.
Thanks
There are frequently 1p differences particularly on fees. I suspect it is down to exchange rates between the £ & $. Nothing to worry about, just another querk of ebay.
Selling fee is charged as soon asitem is sold and on postage when you are paid, at worse there would be no more than1p difference which might be either plus or minus.
