A buyer paid me on 20/2/20 and promised to arrange a courier to collect.
My phone messages and emails remain unanswered. What should I do?
As a seller, it`s not a good idea to let buyers arrange their own couriers, because if they pay via paypal, they could claim not received and get a refund, so if you were willing to post it, ideally you should charge the buyer for it and send it yourself.
Someone ask me the same thing a couple of days ago and i refused (politely) and boxed it up myself and sent via Yodel.
You have been very patient!
Send this buyer one last message, giving them ** days to collect the item, advise them if they do not, you deem the item is no longer required, and will be cancelling and refunding the payment.
Then go right of the item sold to More Actions >> Cancel Order and you must select Buyer Requests to Cancel as the reason, this refunds them, refunds your seller fee and no defect for you.
If they should challenge the reason, you would need to contact eBay CS, direct them to all the messages you sent, trying to arrange a collection, all ignored, final message sent ignored, so item deemed to be not wanted and cancelled.
