A buyer has bid on two items and won. He has then contacted me to say he is on holiday and can't pay

A buyer has bid on two items and won.

He contacted me after placing the bids and when the auctions had finished to say he is on holiday and can't pay until he gets back from holiday which is next Sunday. By that point I am away on Holiday for two weeks and the two items are worth £50 which I was putting towards funds for my holiday spend.

What would you do?

He`s on holiday and can bid on your item, so he should be able to pay for it as well, he`s in another country, not another planet 🙂

Nothing you can do really, other than wait for them to return and pay, or cancel the transaction siting `problem with buyers address`, which maybe correct, but he is`nt there, so technically there`s an issue with the address.

I`d message back and state that next sunday your away for two weeks and won`t be able to post it till you return, so if he doesn`t pay giving time to post it, then you`ll have no choice but to cancel.
