A buyer failed to pay, he had zero feedback and wanted me to ship to Nigeria

I cancelled the purchase, re-listed and sold the item 2 days later. In the help section it says there is a case open, but when I try and get more details it says unavailable.

i have received my monthly bill and I have 2 final value fees, one for the cancelled purchase and the other for the correct purchase.

 

how do I get my money back for the Nigerian cancelled sale?

Sounds to me that you sent the buyer a request to cancel, which they obviously won't agree to so after 10 days you should be able to close the case and get your fee back.

 

If that is the case you don't need to contact ebay who in any case I suspect would not be very helpful.

 

Always open an Unpaid Case and close after 4 days (on day 5) that guarantees a refund of seller fee.
