Hi everyone, a buyer changed his address , this was after I had posted his item(Cost £10)
Now he wants to cancel the order, meaning I will lose out on my sale and time and effort.
Can I refuse to give him a refund please?
Reply as suggested, it really all depends on what he does next. Do you have tracking which will show as delivered to the address given by paypal and have you loaded it onto ebay? If so and it shows as delivered he could not claim not received.
Some buyers seem to think that you can guess where they will be living, not that it is up to them to edit their address on the paypal payment. Unfortunately there are still ways he could get a refund but only if he returns the item to you.
Add him to your Blocked bidders List, you can do without this sort of buyer.
He can't Cancel, only Sellers can Cancel and that would be before an Item has been Posted. You have done nothing wrong. Up to him to change Address when he goes through Checkout. Sellers must Post to the Address which PayPal send them, otherwise you would lose your Seller Protection. Just reply that " Sorry but none of your Requests are possible now you have Paid and I have Posted. "
