I've got exactly the same problem. I've just tried to do something about it though - I clicked on the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page and went through the various options on the page to try to find one that most closely matched the problem I was having so that I could find a way of getting through to eBay Customer Services.
When the page came up what I did was to click on the Managing Your Account option, then I went through the various options that appeared after that and chose the one that suggested that my account has been hacked. I clicked on the mobile phone icon where it says "Have us call you" and shortly afterwards received a calll from an eBay representative.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I've just got off of the phone after about thirty minutes with eBay Customer Services, having been passed to various different people who didn't seem to be able to understand why my account had been changed. The last person I spoke to told me that he was going to send me an e-mail and asked me to send a screenshot of the page layout so that he could see what I see when I look at my account, and he them stated that he would forward the screenshot to their Technical Teams to see if they could resolve the issue. He also said that they would get back to me to let me know what their findings were, but whether he was tellling the truth or was just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear remains to be seen.
During my conversation with eBay Customer Services I told them at one point about this thread, saying that a lot of other people had also reported similar problems, emphasising that I was by no means an isolated case. Later during the call the eBay representative I was speaking to acknowledged that other people had reported the same problem, so if you haven't already done so then try doing what I've just done and report the matter to eBay. If enough other dissatisfied people were to do the same and report the matter to eBay then perhaps they'd realise that their latest "improvements" are hugely unpopular, in which case there may well be a chance that they'll reinstate Classic View for those users that prefer to use that format.
Despite the fact that eBay have said they will look into the problem and get back to me I can't say for certain that they will do so, although if I do have any updates with regards to this matter then I'll post again on this thread to let others know how I've been getting on. If I can find a way to get my account reinstated to how it looked before eBay ruined it then I'll include something about that as well to give some indication as to how to get the proper Classic View reinstated on your accounts if, like me, you just want your account to be permanently put back to how it was before eBay ruined the layout.
