I am trying to find the cheapest/best way to send a golf club. In simple postage there does not seem to be one that accepts the length and in custom there are no prices.
How are we expected to know how much to charge and how much ebay are going to charge us?
Very confusing!!!!

Yes, the item will be outside the maximum length of 61 cm for 'Simple Delivery', so you will need to choose your own postage method/what to charge. I guess it will be a case of shopping around for the best price for that size of parcel.

Good Morning Ray
I usually send my clubs via Parcel Force and a driver normally costs approx £13.00. Simply charge enough to cover yourself and if you find that you have vastly overcharged then you can simply refund the over-payment after the sale has gone through.

Just start the listing (type in golf club) and chose from one of any existing listing available on eBay that comes up instead of clicking continue without match
and it should default to parcelforce with prices for 24 and 48
other carriers and prices aren’t named but u have option to click on one and fill in your own details which you’ll have to get from those carriers websites
if you can get into custom postage easily chose extra large suitcase size which is under see all package sizes/dimensions
just a couple random suggestions because there is no de facto way to set postage yet as in do a b c and you will get x y z
its different for different people who see different things on their screens on the delivery part of the listing

I am looking to list some golf clubs but simply dont see the option to choose my own postage. Where does that come up?

EBay is in danger of killing itself. I simply dont see how to ship golf clubs anymore. Rule 1 of business. Never make it hard for customers to spend money

doing a Dummy listing for a golf club defaults to custom postage for me
“oversized” - above 20kg or bigger than 61 46 46
there you just chose which courier you want and enter your post price or the one it defaults to
so it’s working here as it’s supposed
not sure why not everyone gets it
🤷🏼♀️
If that’s not working and only simple delivery appears
if you’re happy to send with evri they take parcels up to 1.2m
pick evri only in your postage preferences and when doing the listing click on medium size parcel that says max 61 cm 46 46 and that would be ok
if neither above suit you or work, you try this solution
