postage

Hi I'm looking for some postage help. I'm brand new to selling on eBay and have just sold my first large item. It says seller has selected parcel force 48 at checkout do I have to use that postage, ai was planning on using DPD? It may be something set in my listing, as I said I'm very new to selling but would be good to know for future sales.  Thanks!

Just to clarify it say seller selected or doers it say buyer selected.

Seller is you buyer is your customer.

Is it  simple delivery?

Just had a look and your not offering free postage so this must be a buyer selected and paid for the postage.

So you can use dpd but you must delete the tracking number and change it to the dpd number then the buyer will get a refund for the label within 30 days .

This will be at your expense as the buyer will get a full refund for the original label you aren't going to use.

Thanks so much that's very helpful. I'll use Parcel force for this one and I'll know for my next listing. Thanks again.

Ok I've got a follow up. I've gone to get the label and I've ended up on pack link and it's now given me all sort of other courier options including the option for full coverage, however parcel force isn't one of the options listed. irritatingly it won't let me upload a screenshot.

If you don't want to use Parcelforce48 for your deliveries, you had better check all your listings because your vintage guitar is showing with Parcelforce48 delivery as well.  Obviously the buyer hasn't selected that because it's not yet sold, but I'm not sure if it's been selected automatically by ebay.

"it won't let me upload a screenshot."

You can't load .png format but if you can convert to .jpg, it will load that.  If you're on Mac, as I am, go to Export and Save as best qualify .jpg.  Otherwise there are free conversion programs online, or ask Google if you're on PC.
