about <5% of my ebay items require a voided label. sometimes the package size changes due to buyer adding more items into 1 parcel, or, when i weigh the parcel it requires a bit mote postage, or , a buyer cancels the order after ive bought a postage label and booked a collection.
ive noticed recently that my postman still shows these cancelled collections for several days on his list of items to collect, despite me having voided the labels via ebay app.
ive also noticed that im not getting the postage refunds for these items, and, the frequently im getting an email from royal mail saying "the item was not available for collection", and, a footnote in the email says no refund is available for items not collected.
ive tried to explain this to eBay support, but, they just keep saying it takes 21 days to refund , ie they are not taking on board that the eBay postage service and royal mail are not data aligned, something is not working.
this is even more worrying given the changes to payout policy coming in February
