Just received a message from eBay with a link to their new Marketing Program Terms which come into force on 15th January 2025.
Link below:-
This seems way over to top to me as I'm only a small private seller with not much understanding of how this works and what hidden costs will rack up on my eBay seller account !
It looks to me like eBay are going to force yet another mandatory change on all of us and I honestly don't know if I have the ability to handle it.
This may be the end of me ever being able to sell anything on eBay ever again as this is now very complicated, costly and very frightening for a small simple private seller.
It really does now look that the person behind all these recent dreadful changes to eBay has now left no stone unturned with their mega changes campaign and are now changing everything that was original and unique to eBay with a mean vengeance ! 😞
Do post your thoughts on this - Good and Bad.
Many thanks ! 🙂

I'm considering leaving ebay if all these changes do come about. Among a list of hates I have about using the site, is sellers having multiple listings of the same item. Lens, I've looked at your listings and see you have at least six listings selling the same item and all you have done is listed different models of Canon camera in the different listings while using the same picture for each listing.
I've got Canon gear myself and I get fed up with this practice whenever I happen to go looking for a Canon part. I certainly don't buy from any sellers who do multiple listings.

Hello I bought a iron but when today they have delivered to me, it’s been used so it’s not a brand-new. Can you give me more information about that

Hello bab,
If you have received an item that is not as it was advertised (i.e. if it was advertised as a *new* iron, but it's not)
you should open a 'not as described' case with ebay.
On the purchase history page for that item , go to 'more actions' and then to 'return this item' and then choose 'doesn't match description or photos'.
You should be sent a returns label for you to send the item back to your seller. Once it has arrived back with them, your money will be refunded.
(this is an automated process dealt with by the computer system so don't expect any human input! If thing don't go according to plan, come back here and ask for more help 😊)
