Hi there i was trying to change my other ebay account to a business one, the bank account that is already attached to it is the one i want to just keep using it for. but its asking me to add the details again to verify but it says something in red like it can not verify and to add another
i do not have another spare bank account as my main one is linked to this here profile which is my main one.
i talked to ebay and he just said he will talk to ..back office who ever that is and see if they can fix it or if i need a new bank account which is not happening as im not opening yet another bank account for ebay.
does anyone know if its the fact its already linked even though its the exact same profile lol

I assume the bank account you have linked to that account is a business bank account? If it is then it should get sorted out but you may need to follow it up with them. If it isn't then that is possibly the reason. I had a similar thing happen but it's a while ago and I can't remember the details unfortunately. I do know I made a couple of phone calls to them and an adviser was very helpful and explained the process. Good luck!

no its a normal bank account which should not be a issue for a business ebay account as a sole trader as i used a normal bank account a few years ago the same way.

Ah, ok, my mistake. I thought it said I had to use a business account but I may well have got that wrong. Hope you get it sorted.

thank you. i do have a feeling its because the account is attached already but the process of changing to a business account sees it as being attached to a account already so will not add it again. just wanted to make sure with anyone on here as ebay said 48 hrs to get back to me

It was something along those lines when it happened to me and it did take a couple of days to get sorted out so fingers crossed.

I was checking there, and I can see that you have a bank account there no problem and your payouts status is active, so if there was something wrong with it, it is now resolved. If you're referring to a different account, I'm afraid that I'm not able to check it if you're posting from a different account.

If you’re trying to verify via signing into your bank then that will be the problem. Use the micro deposits option to verify instead. It will take a few days, but it should work.
