No one asked for this, and it's very clear that no one tested this either. I do a lot of buying and selling across borders - now instead of being able to see what the postage totals will be including an estimated import fee I'm just presented with "Seller ships to your location..." with no estimated rates as we had previously. And when attempting to complete a payment I get told that the seller does not ship to my address, and that I need to request an invoice - when requesting an invoice I get a message that this is not possible.
Seriously eBay? might as well just say sure - sometimes we work, sometimes we just break everything for the giggles...
This is incredibly frustrating and irritating, and is a feature that very clearly was not tested. Just address this nonsense or revert to the original working state.

The managing directors needed to get the system into place by x date I reckon and the minions weren’t given enough time to sort it all out before launching imo
they did it backwards imo
programmers and other related staff aren’t dumb
others might be 🤷🏼♀️

I'm laughing at you criticising eBay when you can't even write a simple title of a thread and I've got zero idea what edwardian-dreams is smoking, but someone's nicked their caps lock key.

What?
I was replying to the thread title
simple delivery certainly wasn’t tested and it has proven to be a mess on too many occasions and I offered an idea as to why it wasnt
granted just my own stupid if you like speculation
I wasn’t shouting or ranting so dunno why you thought I was ,with or without caps lock 👍
If you must know it’s chesterfield blue and a nice glass or two of Chardonnay in the evening 😀 but I do try to always make sense when posting even when a little tipsy

Ebay have been making changes to GSP (and their equivalents abroad), to "cater" for US tariffs and possibly other things. Business sellers not using SD have been reporting similar issues to yours.
It's possible that SD has some role in this specific issue, but I don't think it's the main reason.
