how about ebay concentrating on selling the uk sellers items 

rather than moving the goal posts all the time 

oh i forgot its ebay UK & iIreland 

has anybody thought about this might be the EU's way of punishing the uk for pulling out of the EU

as ebay Ireland have so strong ties with the EU

Like Ireland are still in the EU they was when i last looked 

so is the legal under uk law?

Ebay says!  Evri or Royal Mail for simple delivery. You can opt out and send with another courier - it will be interesting to see how that works when getting payment.

This will increase shipping costs for the buyer, I will ship using Royal Mail 24 exclusively and charge for the privilege.   

I predict ebay will drop this within 12 months.

You are a bone fide registered business seller (great products by the way ) so none of the changes will apply to you and your sales 

It might be me but when browsing your products - they sparked an interest because I am about to service the petrol garden machinery  and one has a carb problem -  might be dirt - but would it be easier if you categorised them by machine manufacturer as well as product type - just a thought

each listing is for a different tool
and most problems with petrol garden tools is mainly the carb

Honstly have had moments where I considered starting a business on EBay but had second thoughts and this confirms it.  

All I sell are cheap books/toys nothing high value so what if I sell some low value books/toys for a £5.00 each get all the money but how then does EBay decide the Buyer has reciveved the items if don't use tracking but they have put on positive feedback.  Is that enough?

I can see people randomly selling a high-value item and EBay no paying them for several months either due to no tracking number or issues with the Tracking numbers from whatever site because that does happen especially with Evri (awful).  What if you never considered putting tracking on it in the first place?

It just seems like a scam and they want all the private sellers to go away and only have businesses on there.  I often thought of it as an car-boot sale to be honest.

They never should have gotten rid of PayPal.

Sadly ebay has changed over the last decade. Used to be about finding new homes for second-hand items and mainly private sellers. Now lots of business sellers; some brilliant but a lot of imported *bleep* (there's no other word for it!) I'm guessing ebay makes less money out of private sellers so this is the push to get rid of them.

they got rid f paypal so paypal can go and deal with new money
ie; digital money like bitcoin
meanwhile their servers are mining for digital money
generated by the ebay servers
then sell the bytes to paypal and generate more money

i am a uk based business seller
my niche product is made in china
solely because i couldnt find a company in the uk to produce it for me
simple as that
also not all stuff that comes from china is extramine
china is mainly a huge warehouse that stocks items made all over the world
china is just an outlet for a lot of other countries like malaysia
indonesia brazil and mexico
very rare you find any listings on ebay selling from these countries
mainly because china buy up everything they make and sell it on

that just sends reminders to customers about leaving feedback
