Who knew there's a Limit on posts you can Kudo/mark as Helpful

I've been reading a lot of the posts and the replies about simple delivery and clicking on the "Helpful" button on the ones I agree with or find helpful. I can read quite fast so I have before been hit with a message saying I can't leave a Kudo (their wording, obviously left over from when it was Kudos rather than Helpful) because I have gone over the limit of 5 Kudos a minute. Well this time I ran across something different apparently you can't Kudo more 100 times a day, below is the actual notice I got.

"Could not give kudos

Kudos could not be given to the message for the following reason:
Kudos Flood: You have exceeded the limit of 100 kudoed messages per day."

Who knew? 😲

Before all these threads about the new changes these boards were a lot quieter with a handful of regular posters popping on and off to give advice to anyone with problems, so 100 is way much more than is usually needed. I never even knew there was a limit.

Even more frustrating is when having a good ol ' ' talk'  with another member through Private Messages, half way through an interesting conversation it flags up....  You have reached your limit to send messages!  🤔 😐

However,  I've had this pop up after replying twice!  Hardly excessive !

When you come to realise that everything at eBay is all about control, it all makes sense.

Even the pettiest little thing is controlled. It's pathetic.

However, they can only control you if you allow them to.

For me, there is really no point engaging with a company like this. I've no idea what happened to them, but the whole culture is totally different to how it used to be. It is now like opening a toxic can of worms when you try to do anything. So, it just becomes unworkable in the end. Just looking through all the posts on this forum shows how rotten to the core it is.
