VAT added to my listing

My listings have had VAT auto added. I have contacted eBay who are looking in to this. Is this something on account settings? The account is private and I have been selling here for over 10years.

It appears to be a glitch that many other sellers have been reporting since Friday. Unfortunately, it seems there is nothing you can do other than wait for eBay to fix it.

Hi, Yesterday I ended over 300 listings then relisted them in batches checking every now and then and all seems to be displaying the price without VAT. I may have caused this problem myself. When I list something I check to see if any have been listed and sold before. Then I have clicked the short cut on the page 'sell it yourself'. I wonder if eBay has copied the details from that past listing which may have been a business charging VAT.

Omg I've just noticed that this has happened to the majority of my listings . Been selling on here for 12 years and for the last month sales have literally have fallen off a cliff overnight and I just couldn't work out why . Will be onto them first thing ..... what are the chances I will get any compo my monthly sales are down over £2.5k .... I want to cry 😢

Others have experienced this, a member has spoken to eBay Customer Services, they explained it is a technical glitch,  they are aware,  and are working on it.

Though no timescale given,  for when this will be fixed.

Similar here. Selling for over 20years on eBay. Sales dropped to 1 or 2 a day - never had such awful sales! This is my main source of selling income - please sort it out eBay!!

I had this problem and you can  " bulk edit  " all your items in one go via the " Manage Actice listings " 

Just select edit all dont change anything and press submit all . It will take about 5 minutes for the listing to update after the edit  but this should revert the price back to normal.

^^THIS: just do a BULK EDIT, rather then ending and relisting.

Make sure to wait 5-10mins for them to show as correct again.
