UK Delivery Details Issue...

So, just got off the phone to eBay after being told there's been an issue since the 29th re the Delivery Details section. 

I've selected Postage Only / Large Letter (it's a CD) / Custom postage (it's a quid cheaper than Simple Delivery).  Selecting 'List it for free' at this point brings up an error message - "Looks like something is missing or invalid. Please fix any issues and try again." The Delivery Details section states - "Please add at least one valid postage service option to your listing."

 

At this point the wheel comes off. Selecting 'Add primary service' results in an empty box appearing with yet another error message

 

Entering 'Royal Mail' in the field and searching results in ' Search results - No postage services found'. It was at this point the Customer Service Agent revealed that there has been an issue since the 29th regarding this and on my querying her she confirmed that yes, it was indeed a UK only issue.  I'm now awaiting a 24 hour callback for a status update.  Props to eBay for at least having the option to call up and speak to an actual person but this is a pretty poor performance from a firm as big as eBay.

Glad you have raised this issue, as I was listing postage stamps to be sent large letter yesterday, no probs but today tried exactly the same and came across the same problem as you. Hope this gets fixed soon.

I am having exactly the same problem, did a webchat with Ebay this morning the person on the chat acknowledged the problem and promised to escalate it; however I was told the problem may take 48 hours to resolve. A bit of a pain to be  honest . This was on the browser is the App working any better?

Just had a call back from eBay. It appears that there are numerous UK site issues at the moment - custom postage is up the creek, photos are either unable to be uploaded or when uploaded disappear etc. I've been told that this started occurring several days ago although the pictures issue was first mentioned in this very forum on the 15th March so that's two weeks ago.  Engineers are currently working on it apparently, so it's a case of wait and see. I honestly don't know how eBay have the gall to charge for a 'service'. I've read of seriously hacked websites that have been fixed far quicker than these reported faults.
