The new ebay Advertising dashboard, WHAT A MESS!!.

ebay has completely changed the layout of "Advertising Dashboard" section.

There are no more "Promoted Listings", they have changed it to "priority campaign strategy" (previously Promoted Listings Advanced) and changed the "(Promoted Listings Standard) to "general campaign strategy".

They also integrated both campaigns into one central dashboard.., it's really confusing!

Has anyone tried the new ebay advertising dashboard??

We noticed this on Tuesday absolute joke why change it, it was perfectly fine not only that they've made so difficult to add your own keyword when setting up a campaign, i'm finding that you have to create a priorty campaign then launch with ebay's suggested bids and once its active go back into the campaign deleted ebays suggested keywords and the add my keywords which i know they work and save changes. 

Why aren't you able to do this straigjt of the bat like previously its a joke.

Another annoyance - I paused a coupon campaign earlier this week, something I do regularly.  Instead of showing the campaign in the list as paused, as it used to do, it disappeared completely.  It took me ages to find there is a hidden drop down menu which pulls up paused campaigns separately.

Why? - It was all easily viewed on one page previously.  Another example of change for change sake.  It gives the impression that eBay's programmers / developers haven't a clue how to fix the ongoing errors on the basic functionality of the site so spend their time changing formats, fonts, and colours together with altering wording to the latest marketing buzz-words.

As for communicating all this before just throwing it in everyone's lap another zero stars for communication.

The 2 day thing for the bar graphs and flowing line chart thingy* is ridiculous and does not paint a fair picture at all - presumably designed to hide the days when ebay chooses not to show any listings as it averages out with either the day before or after into something which looks semi respectable?!

*there is probably a better name for that.

I've read a few article in the blog including the explanation for the changes. Looks like ebay has gone for the latest evolution of promoted listings. When did ebay introduced promote shops?

Is there any way to see which promoted items sales were classed as halo in the new advertising dashboard?

The fee total used to be a clickable link which led to a breakdown of fees and types but it isn't clickable in the new dashboard.

I can't see the information available anywhere else.

I'm a private seller with only a few sales each month. The new promotion scheme appeared when I was relisting my items last week. There had been no announcements or emails at this stage. But if it was going to increase the visibility of my items it seemed like a good idea, so I applied it to a few of my items that I'm keenest to get sold. I had presumed that I would only have to pay for this "service" when the items sold, but no! It seems I am being charged on a daily basis whether I sell anything or not. This has to be wrong! I don't think eBay have been transparent about what this new feature actually and they should not have started rolling it out before they announced it or contacted sellers. I have just switched off the tool in my listings but I am annoyed that it has cost me money. I thought I had switched it off in the Advertising tab a couple of days ago, but found today that I am still getting charged and the off switch had made no difference!

Accidentally i chose Priority advertising compain instead of General - i haven't notice these new changes! Ebay charged me over £200 for Advertising over 4-5 days period! I've been crying since when- i lost £200 ! I called Ebay customer service  but they said they Will not refund this money back! I'm complety in tears as i'm a very small seller.
