Sub total plus postage

Hello...I'm a bit confused, it may be my fault?  I sold an item and the buyer has of yet not paid.  But the message I received from eBay shows the sub total price but no postage?  I did include the postage rate in the ad and as far as I can remember I did not select pick up item?

Can anyone explain this to me...sorry.

Many thanks

Sub total plus postage

With ebay's simple delivery the buyer pays ebay for the postage and they supply you with the label to use.

Sub total plus postage

Thank you...I know it was my fault lol.  I'm becoming confused by the simple delivery system lol.

1. So the buyer pays for the postage directly to eBay.

2. I just print off the label which is already pre paid.

3. Attach to parcel and post.

3. I receive the amount paid for the item.

I'm old now and as soon as something is changed it confuses me for a bit...so as the whole world is changing I become even more confused lol.

Thank you...

It's not you, it's ebay and their simple delivery which is far from simple.   Yes, you've got it right.   You can read more about it here:

Yes, it sounds like your listing has been updated to Simple Delivery, perhaps without you realising. Have you checked to see if you have been sent a label?

Some sellers have mentioned that their postage options automatically changed to include 'Postage or Collection', so it would be worth checking your listings to see if you need to alter any of the postage options etc.

3. Is actually - print label, take to post office, stand in queue (took me 40 minutes last week), they scan the label and then take the parcel from you.

No longer as simple as just posting it.

That's encouraging. Other posters have claimed that their post offices are dying as so many people have stopped selling on eBay because of SD. It was obviously nonsense, but it's good to see confirmation.
