Small item but with extremely high shipping

Hi,

I’ve seen a few posts now where the item is listed for a very small fee. but very high shipping costs? Doubt this is aloud or is it?

example: small electric item just bigger than an iPad and weighs under 1kg £11 purchase £80 shipping

what exactly are they trying to do here? Avoid eBay’s added protection cost or something else?

Probably just trying to fool an occasional buyer who doesn't check the postage cost.

Or an international seller with their equivalent of GSP setting odd prices.

ebay has masterfully forced us to charge extortionate fees for p&p because they take commissions when we print postage labels.

ebay is as greedy as hogs in a hog farm.

Agree what a disaster they have made of selling for the private seller now. I really am angry with them forcing you to take a prepaid label. Stupid
