Simple delivery takes no account of packaging and cost of me getting the item to the post office!

I dont want to use the two courier options available AND this takes no account of other costs to post something. I was already p***** off about this when i had to do some extra clicks to select my own shipping service and costs and now its compulsory. I will only be listing items on ebay as a last resort now after trying other marketplaces as the two available couriers are not convineient for me and if i want to offset the money i am now loosing on shipping i would have to increase the item price and pay an even higher "buyer protection fee". Absolute nonsense. Hopefully they roll this malicious rubbish back like other marketplaces that have tried this or there is some legeslation to give sellers the freedom to use their service of coice.

Indeed, a dilema for many.

There are two options in my opinion (though there could be more)

1 - You absorb these additional costs - or -

2 - You add a small amount into the cost of the item (if it is a Buy it Now - Fixed Price item)

If it is an auction lot you are selling, then set the Starting Price to a level which will go some way to cover your additional costs or again absorb the additional costs.

I am removing all my items off ebay by the end of month and look for another market place. Bye bye ebay

Yeah I  am aware of the options they are leaving me with. That is why im so annoyed! What is left unsolvable (even in some terible way) however is to use any courier other than RM or everi which is just totally mental especially given everis reputation! BONKERS.
