Simple Delivery - how to mark as despatched without generating label?

Does anyone know of a way of marking an item as despatched without generating a Simple Delivery label, please?

No, you have to generate the label and then you can cancel it (if you paid for it) here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

You can't mark the item as despatched but you should be able to update the tracking details on the order psge:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS

On each order there's a 'Tracking' field.  You should be able to either click the 'Tracking' field directly or the 'edit' button beside it.

Thank you for your reply, I will be bear that in mind.

Say for argument's sake, worst case scenario you don't mark item as despatched, so it stays sitting at not despatched, will funds still clear?!

I only generated label as I was scared if it sat at not despatched the funds would be frozen.

Then it's a hassle of trying to get an unwanted and unused shipping label refunded! Nightmare...

If there is no delivery confirmation then payment should be released 14 days from date of order.  Also, from 6th August Private Sellers will receive payment within 24 hours of the buyer paying if they meet certain conditions (If they have sold 10 or more items with a combined total of £150 or more within the last 5 years, have no more than 2 open requests/cases, and received no more than 2 defects within the last 12 months).
