Same time its simple delivery on this forum.

I'm selling a gold sovereign and I certainly don't think I can post gold with their new "Simple Delivery" which I hate. Is there any way without switching onto a business account to get custom postage with the normal Royal Mail Special Delivery?

Sorry it's so long, but I think the problem with a lot of posts on this forum is people give you only the highlights and miss important detail, thus, I've tried to make sure everything relevant is included, with the sources, so you can confirm for yourself and make your own informed decision.

It would definitely not be advisable to send a gold sovereign via Simple Delivery. Some sellers ignore the Simple Delivery label and buy their own postage, but you would need to think carefully about doing this.

It would be wise to read all the available information, rather than do something hasty and regret it later.
