Is it possible to run both business and private accounts in the same household?
We are now retired and try to sell most of the things we don't use and downsize for moving house this year.
We are thinking of selling small and cheap items under £10 under private account, while larger and more pricey items under business account for selling them with speed.
Just wondering if eBay would allow both type of operation. We already have a business account which was converted from my private account this February, and my wife is still having her private account.
The problem with the private account is that it has not linked to our bank account.

The answer is yes, you can. I'm confused as to why you want to split the items by price over the two accounts though.

We would list more pricey items under business account, because then the payment will come in quicker when they are sold and dispatched.
Smaller items with low price could take time for the payments lodged in the bank, because they will get posted, and low priced item can take time for the payment lodged into the bank. And also the bulky items could be arranged for local collection for cash payments, which will bypass eBay payouts? (Not sure how this works in practice, will need to find out too)
How do we link the private account to the bank for the pay outs from eBay when the items are sold, dispatched and arrived to the buyers?

Guidance can be found here, just bear in mind that the name of the bank account must exactly match that of the eBay account holder:

You are no longer allowed to ask for cash on collection. All payments have to go through Ebay. The buyer is given a code to give you when they collect that releases the payment to you.

I see. Good information. Thank you.
