Return Labels

Hi

A buyer bought  two lots of items off me on two separate  occasions the first lot on the 2/9  the second  lot on the 12/9 she said there was problem with the items bought on the 12th so I refunded her including return postage. After she got the money she said there were problems with the things she'd bought on the 2nd as she hadn't returned the items I'd refunded I said she'd have to go through eBay this where the problem comes in eBay has sent her 16 return labels which she's used, they were sent as a small tracked parcel, she's also kept some things which I assume she's going to give me neg feedback.

Where is the seller protection? Why do they protect crooks?

I've been on eBay since 2007 as a buyer, as I'm knocking on a bit I'm now a seller  When I bought I bought lots of the same thing now I just want rid of it all.

Return Labels

You've been around the eBay block and seen a lot of changes. Seller protection has improved a lot over the years, as has Buyer protection. eBay protection for Business Sellers works best when you follow recommendations, such as having Buyers open a Return Case and only refunding after you receive the items back. For instance, eBay now gives you the option to return as little as 50% of the original payment in case of damage or misuse, which they didn't 18-years ago.

Your post reads as if Feedback is the main issue for you. You have nearly 1200 ratings, with only one Neutral and one Negative, so another Negative is pretty insignificant. What is more significant is how you're not following eBay policies when you Reply to such feedback.

Feedback policy | eBay

This is likely to be far more off-putting to potential buyers than the Negative itself.

Please don't let one bad buyer experience put you off of 18-years' of selling! Try treat these odd sales like water off a duck's back.
