R.I.P EBay Well done congratulations on destroying a once great idea.

I thought I would just congratulate EBay on totally destroying their selling platform for basic private sellers coming on here to sell odd items and also buy. When they went of down the route of self destruction I wanted no part of their ridiculous changes and watched as items listed started to plummet on items I had brought and sold successfully for many years ,BUT I thought no way would a company like EBay set out to commit financial suicide but here we are. I listed 3 items all at a fair price and with the ability to make offers this was two months ago with six views on one item eight on another and ten on another 1 watcher on one item over the two months and not a single offer or sale a total waste of time and just confirms what is now a broken and not fit for purpose site. So well done Ebay top marks for your own utter stupidity hope you do finally wake up but I doubt it as the clowns running this joke of a company seem to have no or little idea about what they have done.

Totally agree, such a shame.

6 and 8 views is more than on nearly all my items. I find watchers are usually other sellers waiting to see if the item sells because they have the same or very similar. Sales are consistently very slow since all the changes this year.

I'm finding things sell as well as they have ever done, albeit with fewer Views and Bids.  As for Buying, I can still find the things that interest me, and not at prices that suggest that the Sellers are desperate.

We keep being told that people are struggling financially and, if that is so, they aren't going to have money for expensive ornaments.  Those who do are probably the sort who wouldn't look at e-Bay as they'd consider it beneath them.

And to continue on, those who do use eBay are savvy. If I were buying 'Wanda's Yak' I would buy the mint condition in box for £68 instead of two unboxed new for £160. And I would buy 'Ed's Safari' for £29 instead of the pair of them for £160 - even with the special edition painted underwear!

It would seem from your ill informed reply you have no idea about collecting Harmony Kingdom but why does that not surprise me !!
