What's going on with eBay? I have excess stuff - luckily most of it I've gotten rid of over the past couple of years, I still have a bit more to go, mix of used & new items.
I've noticed though that some of my things get 0/low views and then when I check recently sold listings of the same or similar things that I'm trying to sell some people are paying at least £5+ more for the same item (like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226875321642) from business sellers, and I even added an extra item to go with this example.
Anyone know what's going on? Poor visibility for private sellers or something? Last few months has been garbage for trying to sell almost anything, even if lowering the price to silly levels.

Thanks for the info 👍
Have been looking into the sales conversion % you mentioned and it seems to have an effect on the algorithm. Haven't really taken much notice of those numbers before as they always seem to be in the red.

Saw the same video as you. I sell different on another place and some weren’t selling there so put on vinted and sold it (necklace) within 5 mins putting it up

I like Depop . But it gets in my nerves when buyers ask can I have this item? Then disappear

Been looking at a website for the past 5 years as have tons of sterling to sell. Just can’t be bothered to sell them on here. I have them in drafts which has sat there for 3 weeks.

Agree completely, they are a pain in the backside.
It's so often that I get offers over there, accept them, then never hear anything else....
I think it's something to do with the age group on there. Attention span of about 30 seconds!
