Posting getting pickup from home

I am having issues trying to Evri to pick up from home now thanks to eBay and its automatic pricing.

How can I change this??

I'm not sure if you can book an Evri collection from home, via eBay. Perhaps someone could kindly confirm this?

The FAQs about Simple Delivery only mention Royal Mail:-

Can I arrange for my item to be collected?

Yes. You can book a home collection when generating your prepaid label directly through eBay. The label will be brought to you when your item is being collected. Plus, there’s no extra fee for collection when you book through eBay. If you need your sold items to be collected, make sure Royal Mail is the only courier selected as your preferred courier.

You can't.  If you switch Evri off your items will go via Royal Mail who will collect at no extra cost.

Before this I used to just use Evri page and select currier pick and they still do that so why is eBay bias on posting??

It is odd, because eBay seem very keen for sellers to use Evri, so you'd think it would be in their interest to have an Evri collect from home service.

Maybe this is something that will be introduced at some point?

Evri charge for pickup - around £1 extra.  Presumably, Evri refused to drop the pickup fee, and eBay's not going to take the hit on their profit from the transaction.  That's why it's RM only for pickup.

Just wanted to confirm that booking collection is only available for Royal Mail at the moment. If you're using or would be willing to use Royal Mail here is how to book collection.

I don't think eBay should have a say in what postage we use s the cost of
postage is fully declared when the item is up up for sale.
They also cover the items and insure the item is signed for in my case..
So the purchaser and my self are covered.
If an item is left at the front door say with photo as proof of delivery
you can't claim it the purchaser say he never received, that has happened
to me with the post office and why I changed to Evri
